Privacy & Cookie Policy
Effective June 1, 2026
NeuroSearch is a small, founder-led firm. We collect as little as we can, we never sell your information, and we treat anything you share about your health or a condition as confidential. Here is what we collect, why, and what you can do about it, in plain language.
Who we are
NeuroSearch ("we," "us") runs neurosearch.co and places senior professionals who live with neurological and chronic conditions. You can reach us any time at seth@neurosearch.co.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you use the contact form, we collect your name, your email address, whether you are a candidate or an employer, and whatever you write in the message. You decide what goes in that message.
Information collected automatically. When you visit, our analytics records things like which pages you view, the kind of device and browser you use, your approximate location (from your IP address, not a precise one), and the site you arrived from. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used. We run it with Google Consent Mode, which means analytics cookies are off by default. Nothing is stored on your device for analytics until you choose Accept on the cookie banner. If you Accept, Google sets analytics cookies (named _ga and similar) that help us count visits and see which pages are useful. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not share your data with advertisers.
We also store one small item in your browser, called ns-consent, to remember whether you accepted or declined. That is functional, not tracking, and it never leaves your device. To change your choice, clear this site's storage in your browser and the banner returns.
If you share health or condition information
Because of what we do, you may choose to tell us about a neurological or chronic condition, an accommodation you need, or other sensitive details. You are never required to. Anything you do share is kept confidential, is used only to help place you well or to have an honest conversation with an employer, and is never sold or shared with advertisers. We only discuss it with an employer with your knowledge.
How we use your information
To reply to you and have a first conversation. To match candidates with employers who can actually accommodate them. To understand and improve how the site works. That is the whole list.
Who we share it with
We rely on a few trusted providers to run the site: Google (Analytics and Tag Manager), Netlify (hosting and the contact form), and Google Fonts (which loads the site's typefaces and, in doing so, receives your IP address). Each handles data under its own terms. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept as long as we may need them to help you or stay in touch, and we remove them when they are no longer useful. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings. Ask us and we will tell you what we hold.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you what we have, correct it, or delete it. You can decline analytics and still use everything here. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK, or California), you may have additional rights to access, delete, or limit the use of your information. To exercise any of this, email seth@neurosearch.co and we will take care of it.
Children
This site is meant for working professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
